- Laboratory Incubator: It has a temperature control range up to 100°C (212°F), it allows to create a favorable environment, for the growth of life forms such as bacteria and chicken eggs. It consumes less energy than the laboratory furnace. In general, it has an additional interior glass door, which allows to visualize the samples during normal operations.
Differences Between Teams
Drying ovens, muffle ovens and laboratory incubators are equipment that can reach temperatures higher than 300°C. They come in different sizes, from portable to large as a refrigerator.
Because of the way they operate, they have a good temperature identity inside the chamber, and the chamber can be controlled with great precision.
However, they differ, and it is due to the temperature range. In an incubator, the temperature ranges from 15 to 80°C. Laboratory furnaces reach much higher temperatures.
